Among the Winners in the Enterprise Tech Category, Only Two Korean Companies, Including Shiftee, Selected
Notable Growth Over the Past Five Years Amid Conservative HR Solution Industry Atmosphere

Shin Seung-won, CEO of integrated workforce management solution provider Shiftee, has been named to Forbes' “30 Under 30 Asia List 2022,” announced on the 27th.

Each year, Forbes selects 30 leaders under the age of 30 from 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region across ten categories, including finance, media, retail, and enterprise technology. This year, over 4,000 candidates were evaluated based on leadership, entrepreneurship, impact, and potential. Shin was recognized in the enterprise technology category. Notably, among Korean companies, only two made the list in this category—Shiftee and Klleon, a virtual human creation solutions provider.

Founded in 2016 by Shin Seung-won, Shiftee is South Korea’s leading integrated workforce management company, serving 150,000 corporate clients, including major companies such as SK Networks and Lotte Shopping, as well as big tech companies like Kakao and Coupang. Shiftee gained attention for surpassing its break-even point (BEP) and achieving profitability within just three years of its founding. Despite securing two rounds of seed investment in its early stages, the company has maintained steady revenue growth without exhausting its investment capital, earning recognition as a model SaaS growth company in the startup industry.

“The HR solutions industry for enterprise clients tends to be highly conservative, making customer acquisition challenging. However, once a client is secured, it leads to long-term relationships, which is a key driver of our steady growth,” Shin said. “Shiftee’s ability to quickly penetrate the B2B market with a universally adaptable solution, regardless of company size, has been positively recognized.”

Shin added, “Although we are currently focused on the domestic market, Shiftee was designed and developed to meet global standards, making it fully prepared for international expansion. Our next goal is to help businesses worldwide manage their workforce with a solution developed in Korea.”

Meanwhile, other Koreans selected for this year's Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” list include actress Jung Ho-yeon, K-pop group Aespa, golfer Ko Jin-young, archer An San, and designer Yoon Hye-jun, a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
